Body posture
Salsa Lady’s 10 tips to how Ladies can get the right body posture!

Finally! Many of you have asked me how you can get the right body posture when you are dancing Salsa. With Salsa Lady's 10 tips, you can be an elegant and comfortable Salsa dancer after practicing for just a short time. Keeping the right body posture while dancing Salsa is one of the keys to look good, feel great and have more fun on the dance floor.

The first 3 tips are:
1. The tip of your nose should point forwards, and you should keep your shoulders down.
2. Press your torso a bit forward; make sure you don’t press the shoulders backwards instead.
3. Keep the elbows about 10 cm from your body; your hands should be about 10 cm in front of your armpits.

We will go through the last 7 tips in detail at the coming workshops.

I recommend that you always spend a few minutes perfecting the correct body posture when you are practicing Salsa. Good body posture will help you to improve at other dancing techniques as well, such as spinning, footwork, shines and free style. The right body posture is important through the whole dance, and not only in the beginning.

I hope you will enjoy your Salsa dancing even more with the 10 tips!

Love,
Salsa Lady
